The 2Bot ModelMaker™ is the introductory product for a revolutionary line of CNC machines. The 2Bot ModelMaker™ enables the rapid creation of terrain, architectural and engineering models while being incredibly easy to use, low-cost and easy to maintain. The system is simple to learn, works directly from a standard power supply and needs only commonly-used materials.
The 2Bot is uniquely created and made with the users in mind. Having the luxury to re-think the design from the ground up, we decided to tackle the problems that no one else has solved – creating a machine that is designed for mass production, easy maintenance and, most important, to be as easy to use as your desktop printer – and as small as that printer too!
Software is the First Key to Success
Because of the way we have combined our software with this newly-created system, learning to use a 2bot takes an hour, often less. It is small enough to sit on a desk, and no one needs to know, use or understand complex G-Code or special commands to be able to set a model going. 2Bot’s software is not only easy to use, but improves the life of a modelmaker by automatically sectioning a much larger design and then cutting each piece for you. These pieces are easily blocked together to make a more traditional 2’ x 3’ model, or even a full life-size model if you really want – all at the touch of a button.
Choose your Materials
The 2Bot doesn’t need special power supplies, or clean rooms. And it also doesn’t need special, proprietary materials to create a model. Simply use the wood, foam or other materials that your customers want to use and can easily buy at a hardware store. Future 2Bot products and modules will have a series of different cutting heads and technologies for dealing with different materials, different needs and different markets. It has been designed to enable that kind of progress.
Comprehensive File Format support
Right now 2Bot supports DWG, DXF, KMZ and STL file formats, but we have developers working on other formats that will enable even wider usage of the 2Bot systems. We also want to work with our resellers to make sure that customers are provided with the tools and formats they need to be able to work faster and more effectively than ever before.

We have targeted architects with our first 2Bot system, because they have a critical need for easy systems that anyone in the office can use – imagine it! If even the receptionist can run out a quick terrain model, or the technicians can create an amended building model just a few hours prior to a client meeting, what is that worth? Our off-site testing, at various architects around the Seattle area, has shown that any architect can easily recoup their investment in 2Bot within an average of 5 architectural models. 2Bot will be fully launching its reseller program during March 2008, with products available as of April 2008 for delivery.
