The comprehensive 2Bot Studio Software is essentially a very high level 2Bot printer driver which offers a very intuitive interface. Data from CAD packages is brought in, scaled and sent to your 2Bot. 2Bot studio is the first true WYSIWYG interface for CAD/CAM and is as simple as 1-2-3 and 4.

1.Scale your Data
A.Open your DXF, DWG, STL or KMZ data file.
B.For the model you want to make you can either set the exact scale or you can set the exact size.
C.If you want to make a model larger than the 12” cutting envelope you can input the number of 12” tiles you want to spread your data across.

2.Organize pieces
A.Select a piece to be made and position it on the material board. Where ever you leave the piece on the screen board is where it will be made in the physical material board in the 2Bot.
B.If you have multiple pieces on multiple boards you can move the pieces to optimize material use.

3.Tool Info
A.Select a cutting tool
B.Select the surface quality of the output. Coarse for quick test models and fine for finished masterpieces.

4.Machine Control
A.Put raw material board into 2Bot.
B.Press the “2BOT-IT” button and 2Bot starts making your parts.
C.If the piece requires cutting on both sides 2Bot studio will ask you to “flip” the cassette with the material when the first side is complete.
